Spring Newsletter

As the temperatures warm and the sunny days grow longer, we wanted to shine a light on some recent happenings at the Alpha Omicron chapter.

Winter recruitment was a great success for our collegiate members. Nearly 1,300 women registered for recruitment and the chapter's pledge class had 64 members. Greek life at Ohio State is growing fast and it is exciting to see so many women experience what it means to be an Alpha Chi Omega.

Recruitment was the perfect time to showcase the newly refurbishedThrough the Years gallery on the second floor featuring photos from decades of Alpha Chi sisterhood. We hope that you will stop by and take a look next time you are on campus.

Our chapter house is very special to us as it is home to collegiate members and countless memories. From time to time we are grateful for the opportunity to spruce up areas of the house. Over spring break the House Corps Board volunteered to repaint the downstairs office and swap in some furniture that had been in storage to bring new life to the room. It is just in time for the long hours collegiate members will spend studying for finals.

With spring comes graduation, and the second annual Alumnae Brunch to welcome graduating Seniors into the alumnae community. We hope that you will join us for this potluck brunch hosted in partnership with the Lambda Chi Lambda alumnae chapter on Sunday, April 30th. The Hall of Commitment ceremony for those graduating will be held directly before the brunch at the chapter house, all alumnae are invited to both events.

One final note, though fall is months away we know what a busy time of year it can be for Buckeye Nation, so please mark your calendar for our Fall Open House and Brick Wall Dedication Celebration on Saturday, October 14th. This event will be held on OSU campus at the chapter house.

Thank you for your continued sisterhood and support, we hope to see you soon!
